What is the ‘Social Icon’ service?

We are providing you with a media friendly adaptation of your existing logo/symbol/emblem for use on social media platforms, app icons and website shortcut icons.

We construct this as an optimised version of your logo for use at small sizes – keeping clarity and legibility. We give space to the logo so that it fits well into the image location and that it isn’t clipped by the square or circular border.

This is not a full logo redesign, but a reflection and simplification suitable for the format.

We are not redesigning your logo, that is a different requirement and one that entails a design rationale and full creative process. We do however, offer logo design and branding as part of our other services.

Why this service?

There are lots of reasons to why a logo may not work as required on you social media profile or not be seen in its best light.

Social media platforms are great for communicating and getting your brand out there. However, all too often you see a company logo used as the main profile image, which is either difficult to identify or is even illegible to the viewer. This is often made worse by a multitude of image sizes and shapes that the social media platforms use to display the profile image. Not only can they be shown at extremely small sizes, be either square or circular in shape, but they also have to work across a wide range of resolutions for mobile devices, tablets and desktops.

How much does it cost?

Social Icon products are priced according to our service matrix, final prices are confirmed after the review process.

Package entry prices are based on the reconstruction of what would be considered a standard logo type. Prices may vary depending on the complexity of a logo.

The service operates with a stage payment process with an initial deposit* before we undertake the artworking and a final payment upon approval. Following receipt of final payment we supply a download to the finished image files.

* All deposits will contribute towards the total fee. Deposits cannot be refunded once we have started the reconstruction stage.

How long does it take?

From the point you pay the deposit you can expect to receive a preview within 2-4 working days. Completed artwork as part of a standard service, will be ready to download the next working day following final payment.
